- Dial up phone number changes...
There are several locations throughout the USA that are having phone number changes. We are in the process of updating the phonebook within our dialer software. If you are having problems logging onto the internet, please change the phone number you are dialing into before calling for support. If you are STILL having problem, feel free to call in. If you do not use our dialer software, please visit http://onehop.com and click on the LOCAL ACCESS NUMBERS link to get a list of local numbers in your area.
- Credit Card Security....
Over the next month or 2, we will be adding the 3-4 digit security code that is listed on your credit card itself. This is an added security feature for your protection and ours. We will be calling you to get this number from you if you pay via credit card. A web page is also being developed in order for you to be able to update this information as well.

- We have updated our dialer phone book with new numbers. If you do not currently use our dialer software, we recommend you download and install it. The only thing the software installs is the phone book. The dialer does work much better than the default dialer within your Windows Operating System. This is not required, but very handy!
- OneHopDSL has been delayed yet again. Due to the BellSouth/AT&T buy out, we are forced again to delay our DSL products. We will be offering DSL, however at this point we simply don't know when. More updates on this as they become available.

- Green Light Users: It has come to our attention from SlipStream (the makers of the acceleration software) that there is a problem with the new version 5.0 with Internet Explorer 7. I new release of version 5.1 will be out in a few days. It is highly recommended that you update the software when it is released. Stay tuned to this site as well as our download section for the latest download. You can also click on the UPDATE/UPGRADE button within the software itself.
- Still no word on OneHop DSL. We were notified that we can do it, however, we still have yet to receive the contracts. We'll keep ya posted. In the mean time, visit the DSL section of our site to see if you can get DSL in your area. If so, feel free to sign up through that website. (and no, we're not quitting the dialup business)

- Since late night Jan 1, there have been a 312% influx of email to our servers. The problems this caused "should" be resolved now. Please email support@onehop.com for any further issues you may be having with email.

- We have just updated our anti-spam system. So far the results are fabulous. For the subscribers that use our anti-spam system, you should see even more of an improvement. We've added more than 2,000 new filters and close to 8,000 known spam sites. On a global setting (which is for the non-subscribers), we were able to add 2,900 known spam sites that are now blocked.

- By popular demand (large demand actually), we have decided to re-enable PayPal payments. We have already started working on the programming in our billing system. For the people that wish to make payments via PayPal, you will have a new button on your invoice to click for PayPal payments. *DO NOT email your payment, you must go through the PayPal button in order to get credit on to your account.*
